Wild by Nature: Embodying Wildness in the Healing Arts, West Marin County

In our small group format, we will draw upon pan-cultural teachings and experiences to deepen and enhance our unique relationships with the wild medicine gifts from nature. Each day we will meet on the land, using council, medicine walks, four shields teachings, and other eco-therapeutic modalities. Special focus and consultation will be given to help participants creatively apply these practices to their own life and therapeutic work. Open to licensed and intern therapists, social workers, psychologists, body workers and other practitioners of the healing arts. CEU’s available for LCSWs/MFTs. GUIDE FOR WILD BY NATURE: Dave Talamo, MFT is founder of Wilderness Reflections. He has over 25 years of experience guiding wilderness trips, works as a therapist with youth and adults, and is a certified Wilderness First Responder. He is committed to the expression of joy and authenticity through the body and to helping others experience their own embodied selves in an intimate, ecstatic relationship with Nature. Dave trained in wilderness quest guiding with Steven Foster and Meredith Little and has apprenticed himself to wild places throughout North America and several other continents. |
