These practice days are open to all graduates of our trainings that included the TerraSoma Approach and Somatic Immersion skills. Quest guides with training in the Hakomi Method or Somatic Experiencing are also welcome. (**Read more details about the TerraSoma Approach below.)
Each day will be a combination of didactic instruction, skills practice, experiential exercises and solitude on the land- with the emphasis on building skills. We’ll meet from 9am- 5:30 pm on the land in west Marin County.
Each day may be enrolled for separately or you can enroll for the series of three at a discounted rate. For Spring 2015 the practice days are on Tuesdays and the topic/schedule is as follows:
May 12: Review and Practice
May 19: Tracking & Working with Traumatic Activation
June 2: Discerning When & How to Initiate Somatic Immersion (or TBD by group consensus)

**Description of the TerraSoma Approach from our 6-month Apprenticeship Program: Blending the ancient ceremony of the wilderness quest with contemporary advances in ecopsychology and mindfulness-based therapy, this one-of-a-kind training is an opportunity to bring Nature into your counseling, coaching or healing work. With a curriculum informed by the ceremony of the wilderness quest, ecopsychology, Hakomi®, Somatic Experiencing® and other therapies, we’ll teach you an array of practices applicable to urban or wilderness settings.
