Come to this evening presentation with ecotherapy pioneer, David Talamo, MFT and learn more about the powers of Nature and ecotherapy to enhance the effectiveness of therapy, resolution of trauma and overall joy and wellness.
Therapy typically takes place within the very limiting confines of an office. While this supports many aspects of healing and recovery, Nature is our original home and is an ideal setting for many aspects of therapeutic work and relationships. Indeed, more and more people are realizing that our separation from Nature is a source of much pain, suffering and dysfunction.
It’s well known that both spending time in Nature and time within a nurturing therapeutic relationship can be very healing and supportive. Combining the two with a trained and experienced ecotherapist can accentuate the value of each.
In this fun and informative presentation Dave Talamo will outline the foundations of ecotherapy, share stories from the field and offer opportunities for the audience to feel and experience the synergy that is created when the magic of nature connection and body-centered therapies are combined.
