The practice of Ecotherapy can take many different forms including but not limited to horticultural therapy and therapeutic gardening; animal-assisted therapy (most often with dogs or horses); wilderness-based work; nature awareness-based work; and working with our grief about the state of the planet and our impacts upon it. Another key element is that the client and therapist are in a reciprocal relationship with Nature and that Ecotherapy includes some form of giving back to Nature.

At Wilderness Reflections, ecotherapy takes place indoors and out, and can take numerous forms such as one-on-one, family or ongoing group sessions lasting anywhere from an hour to two weeks in length. Contact Us to set up your first session or for more information.
